Dear Nobody,
It's so cold! Very, very, very, VERY, cold. Like, All-I-Want-To-Do-Is-Curl-Up-In-A-Blanket-And-Read cold. It's been miserable walking to class in this weather... and it's only going to get worse winter progresses.
Now, on to my weekly recap.
Monday:
On Monday I mainly just studied for the tests I had later in the week. That evening I grabbed dinner with my best friend, which was nice because I never see him.
Tuesday:
I went to a choir concert (for the choir I was in during high school) on Tuesday. They did very well and the songs were beautiful. I sat with one of my fellow alumni, which was nice. At the end of the performance, the choirs always sing "For the Beauty of the Earth" and any alumni in the audience is welcomed to sing with them. My friend and I sang with them, and it was very weird to be singing with them as an alumni.
After the concert, I went out to eat with my friend and several of our friends who are in the choir. That was a very hysterical meal. We had a blast

Wednesday:
I had a test on Wednesday. (I made a good grade on it, yay!) Wednesday was also blistery-cold and miserable.
Besides going to all of my classes and work and church, I mainly studied for my New Testament exam that was on Thursday.
There was an Operation Christmas Child packing party for the children at my church on Wednesday. I helped with that and it was a blast. The kids were so excited to pack shoe boxes for children around the world.
Thursday:
New Testament exam day.
After my test, my neighbor (who's in my New Testament class with me) and I watched Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie in our dorm's lobby.
After all of our classes ended, my best friend and I drove up to another university that's about forty-five minutes from Not Hogwarts to kidnap our friend from high school. She was so surprised and happy to see us. We were able to visit with her for about an hour which was very nice.

After we talked to her for a while, Best Friend and I ate dinner with our old youth intern who moved to the town we were in. It was amazing getting to catch up with her.
Friday:
Friday afternoon I had Starbucks with a woman who runs the Retreat Program at my high school/middle school. That was a great time of encouragement and prayer. At the end of our visit, some of the seniors from my high school walked into Starbucks, so it was awesome getting to see them as well.
Later that evening, my roommate, my neighbor, a girl from upstairs, and I watched Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie (Roomie hadn't seen it before), The Lego Movie, and Frozen. Yay for a movie night! Roomie and girl-from-upstairs ended up going back to their rooms after The Lego Movie to study and then go to sleep. I stayed and watched Frozen with our neighbor, and I ended up just sleeping in her room, as her roommate was gone for the weekend.

Saturday:
Today several of my friends and I went downtown to the crafts-festival there. We bought a few Christmas presents for our "Family Group" leaders, and we also saw alpacas.

I also went to a dollar store and bought items for Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. I packed two boxes this year: one for a 10-14 year old girl, and another for a 10-14 year old boy. I love OCC so much! Not only will the children receive school supplies, toys, and hygiene items, but they will also have the opportunity to participate in a Bible study to learn more about Jesus. Find out more info about OCC here.
That's all folks!
